Mass Incarceration
Our mission is to reduce mass incarceration by advancing post-conviction advocacy and second-chance opportunities. We work to support individuals through parole advocacy, wrongful conviction investigations, executive clemency and pardon efforts, and legislative reform that promotes fairness, accountability, and successful reintegration into society.

Youth Empowermemt
We are committed to equipping young people with the guidance, resources, and opportunities they need to build successful futures. Our initiatives include weekly mentoring sessions at the Chesterfield Juvenile Detention Center, participation in the Virginia Ambassadors for the Cell Dreamer Program, and the development of two transitional housing initiatives: Build the Blueprint, designed for justice-involved youth, and Bridge to Bright Futures, created to support emerging adults as they transition into independent living.

Community Outreach
Throughout the year, we host impactful community events including our annual Back-to-School Drive, our signature Thanksgiving Community Celebration, and Christmas outreach. We also provide valuable resources through our Community Baby Shower, Community Think Tank, Yard Sales, Medicaid education, and other programs designed to connect families with support, information, and opportunities.

Reentry
Back to Basics is our comprehensive pre-release and post-release program designed to help returning citizens successfully transition back into the community. Our services include educational workshops, essential care packages, and the development of Bunk to Bed, our adult transitional housing initiative. Through these programs, we equip individuals with the tools, resources, and support needed to build stable, successful futures.

Legislation Advocacy
We advocate for policies that create meaningful second chances for returning citizens and their families. Our current efforts include raising awareness of the proposed Youthful Parole Bill (SB 222), which would allow certain individuals who committed offenses between the ages of 18 and 20 and have served at least 20 years to become eligible for parole if enacted. Through community education, outreach, and advocacy, we work to keep the public informed and engaged throughout the legislative process.

Institutional Programming & Public Speaking
We provide impactful programming inside correctional facilities to prepare individuals for successful reentry and long-term personal growth. Our signature programs include Steadily Thinking Outside of Prison (STOP) for individuals serving long-term sentences, Parole Prep for those preparing for parole consideration, and Back to Basics, a practical reentry education program. We also offer motivational and educational speaking engagements for correctional facilities, community organizations, schools, conferences, and other groups focused on second chances and personal transformation.
